A Cu occurrence/mine located in sec. 23, T2N, R26E, SBM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) N of Cross Roads and 4.6 km (2.9 miles) SE of Monument Peak (coordinates of record), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in sandstone. The ore body is 6.1 meters long. The ore occurs in fractured, flat-lying sandstone underlying volcanic cover. Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex and/or Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.
Workings include underground openings comprised of several short adits.
