A Zn-Pb occurrence located in sec. 11, T17S, R31E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) NNE of Empire Mountain (coordinates of record) and 3.7 km (2.3 miles) NNE of Mineral King (town), on National Park Service wilderness land (Sequoia National Park/Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in limestone and granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of several short tunnels, prospects, pits and shafts.
