Opened in February 2007 to rework old mine workings, later suspended.
The Rasp Mine was officially opened on 25 July 2012.
The Rasp Mine consisted of CML7 and Mining Purpose Leases 183, 184,
185 and 186. These leases occupied much of the Broken Hill Line of Lode.
The mines included the Central Mine, Block 10, Block 14 and the BHP leases.
As such, geo-coordinates are a little meaningless as it covered an area approximately from Menindee Road in the north-east to Gypsum street in the south-west.
