Two-mica granite (monzogranite) quarry, that belong to the Strzegom-Sobótka massif. Consists mainly of perthitic K-feldspar, plagioclase (10-11%An), quartz, muscovite and biotite, accessory mineral garnet, apatite, zircon, monazite and xenotime. Granite is sometimes cut by a subhorizontal veins of a beryl-columbite pegmatite of the rareelement class (Janeczek & Sachanbiński, 1989). Pegmatites mosty up 30-40 cm wide, consists of microcline, quartz, oligoclase, albite, muscovite, biotite, chlorite, Fe-Mn garnet, beryl, apatite, columbite, gahnite and zircon.
In 1990 the mining works uncovered a 1.5-2 m thick hydrothermal zone with kaolinite-smectite clay that contained numerous quartz crystals of
sceptre morphology.
