The whole rock is made up of chlorite crystals (a chlorite schist?), the side showing is polished with stick crystals protruding randomly. These stick crystals could be some sub-type of chlorite crystals, or cited by Magnus Vonsen, could be rutile crystals embedded in chlorite.
