A former underground gold mine located about ½ mile North of the old Union Mine, in the northern foothills of the Phoenix Mountains. Discovered 1885 and ultimately closed October, 1933. Owned at times, or in part, by J. White & Associates organization (Eyrich Gold Mining Co.)(1913); C.K. Barnes (circa 1928); Hartman Gold Mining & Milling Co. (1931- ); and, the Anglesite Mining & Development Co. (circa 1928).

Mineraization is a vein deposit with an oxidized zone.

The principal rocks are dark gray granite with small included masses of schist and a few dikes of acid porphyry. The vein is traceable for a few hundred feet on the surface, strikes SW-ward at its North end, and Southward at its South end & dips about 60ºW. Ore consists of coarse-textured, locally vuggy, grayish-white quartz with some calcite and irregular bunches of hematite. Three oreshoots pitch steeply southward.

Workings include a 300 foot deep shaft and some drifts (circa 1913); deepened to 500 feet (circa 1931) plus 3,000 feet of drifts. A 10-stamp mill was erected (circa 1928) with a new mill equiped for flotation and concentration (1932).
