A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 2, T15N, R8E, MDM, 1.0 km (0.6 mile) W of La Barr Meadows, on the E ridge of Wolf Creek (3 miles S of Grass Valley), on private (patented) land. The property comprises 4 to 5 acres on 3 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes NW and dips 45E. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of shafts and open cuts.
