A former bentonite mine located in the N½ sec. 30, NW¼ sec. 29, T18S, R1W, SBM (Pemberton [1983] states it is in the SW¼ sec. 17 and the SE¼ sec. 18), 2.9 km (9,500 feet) ENE of Otay.

Mineralization is hosted in Tonalite Of La Posta Formation (sandstone, arkose, volcanic ash)

Production data are found in: Cleveland (1960).
