A former lode Au-Cu mine located in sec. 11 and/or 36, T32N, R6W, MDM, 2.0 km (6,500 feet) SE of South Fork Mountain (coordinates of record), along the South Fork Spring Creek. Located prior to 1896 and worked 1953 to about 1960. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite porphyry. The ore body is tablar, strikes N85E and dips 78N, at a thickness of 0.25 meters and a depth-to-top of 0.0 meters. The vein is 8 to 10 inches thick. Free gold is associated with pyrite and chalcopyrite-bornite nodules. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 3 shafts, one at 80 feet.
