Series of calcite veins in limestone, exposed below the lighthouse. A small quantity of the veins contain galena and minor pyrite. The rocks form part of the wave-cut platform and are therefore exposed to the sea. In many places the coarse vein calcite has dissolved away to leave the galena (showing mainly an octahedral form) attached to the remaining limestone.

This locality is better known for its Lower Carboniferous fossil fauna and hammering the outcrops is discouraged.
