Located on the western outskirts of Ravensthorpe, just south-west of the intersection with the Floater Road, and Ravensthorpe Diversion Road. Some shafts and small amount of mullock, 100 metres west of the Floater Road, in scrub.
Mining covered a distance of 170 metres, and 95 metres depth. There is a main shaft, and older workings to the west. Between 1901 to 1920, it produced 6088 tonnes of copper ore at 12.71% Cu.
The mine is located in a foliated zone of garnetiferous amphibolite, dipping vertical to 75 degrees north. The mineralised zone is cut by four metadolerite dykes, and areas of biotite-hornblende granodiorite. The shallow oxidised zone contains massive pyrite-chalcopyrite-tetrahedrite, with disseminated to massive magnetite.
