Discovered in 1905 by Giant Silver Nugget Mines. Acquired by Conisil Mines in 1946 who sank the Conisil shaft. Property acquired in 1960 by Silver Miller Mines Ltd. who also worked several other mines in the Cobalt area in the 1950's and 1960's. Canadaka Mining (now defunct) in 1986 dewatered the Conisil and Lawson Mine. Diamond drilling did not discover any economically viable silver resources. Due to lack of funding Canadaka ceased operations May 1986 and the property option was purchased by Novamin resources. As of 2019 all the buildings on site have been removed.
