Formerly: Sintra quarry (Carrière Sintra), Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., Québec, Canada.
Although this locality is actually significantly closer to the town center of Ayer's Cliff, it actually lies within the municipal boundary of Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley.
The locality name has been updated to reflect both its location within Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley and proximity to Ayer's Cliff.
Quarry operated intermittently since at least the 1960s in a variety of rocks which inlude schists, various volcanics etc. Most of the listed minerals were found in Alpine-clefts in the 1970s in a section of the quarry mined out in the 1990s.
