Estrie is an administrative region of Québec covering 10,508 km2, also known in English as the Eastern Townships and in French Cantons-de-l'Est.
Cantons-de-l'Est is still in use and covers the same area as Estrie, but it is now the name for a Région touristique (Tourist Region). It is a bit confusing even for the residents.
