In the late 70's a field collector, Les Cubit, brought some micro material to the NCMA meeting for give-away. The only locality information Les would divulge was that it was on private property in the Van Horn-Allanmore District in Cumberson County Texas.
Mineralization is in small 1-4 mm vesicles in a greyish-pink fine grained rhyolite.
MINERAL species, said to have been confirmed (never knew by whom or meathod) in MR. Cubit's material are Carnotite, Uranophane, Beta-Uranophane and Haiweeite
As I vaguely remember, there was a paper published in "Economic Geology" on an occurrence of a molybdenum rich breccia pipe in the close vacinity with traces of uranium mineralization, not uncommon in that type of mineralizing sustem.
