A nitrate deposit. Pueyo et al. (1998) mention "silicates (zeolites); calcite; Ca-, Na-, (K-) and Mg-sulfates; Na- and K Mg-nitrate-sulfates; nitratine; and small amounts of iodates, Na- and K Mg-iodate-sulfates, chromates, borates and perchlorates".
