Platinum group metals prospect in the northern Karasjok greenstone belt. Exploration work was done in 1939 by the Porsanger Malmfelter company, and by the NGU in 1979, 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1992.
The LiDAR map clearly shows the presence of a few small quarries. The Mindat coordinates are NGU's main coordinates, but in addition the NGU registered:
Main pit : 70.0334760,25.2188050
Locality 2 : 70.0331750,25.2218760
The reserves are estimated to be 1 Mt of ore.
