The Sierra de Fiambalá is a mountain range located in the province of Catamarca, Argentina; It is an integral part of the Sierras Pampeanas.
The Sierra de Fiambalá, with a generally NNW-SSW course, extends to the vicinity of the city of Tinogasta (it receives the name of Cerro de San José in its foothills) and in general, its line of peaks is very dissected; the heights of its hills diminish towards the south; Among them, we can mention: El Morado hill, to the north, with a height of 4,920 meters above sea level, Yareta hill with a height of 4,600 m, in the vicinity of Los Ratones the peaks reach 3,230 m. and at the height of Anillaco 1,820 m.
National Route 60 crosses the slopes of the mountains from north to south and from east to west.
