Described by Dines as unsuccessful surface workings and shafts on east-west tin lodes dated to 1870.
Two shafts exist in the present day on the eastern slope of Gibbet Hill, 0.5 miles south-west of the Job's Shaft Engine House at Wheal Betsy. Each has a small dump of dark grey killas. The dump furthest up the hillside produces pyrite and arsenopyrite whilst the lower dump produces galena in some abundance in pieces up to the size of a golf ball.
