Structure: Fault
Deposit: Workings expose massive white quartz vein, highly shattered and brecciated. Prominent shearing perpendicular to vein. The vein is heavily stained with Fe-mn oxides. Additional quartz veins outcrop upslope from site. Fragments of quartz porphyry intrusive contain minor pyrite oxidizing to hematite and gossan. Vein is probably filling a fault which separates shale from overlying quartzite. Malachite in float nearby
