A Mn occurrence located 0.9 km (3,000 feet) SSE of Neafus Peak (coordinates of record) (on the SW slope of Neafus Peak, about 1 mile from the road from Alder Point to Hoaglin). Discovered 1942. Owned by William P. White estate, California (1974). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a Mn deposit . The ore body is 3.05 meters wide and 15.24 meters long. The ore occurs in a block of massive manganiferous chert approximately 100 feet in diameter. The chert is partly recrystallized to quartz and appears to be hydrothermally altered. The main ore zone is 50 feet long, 10 feet wide, strikes NW, with uncertain dip, perhaps 70NE. Mn oxides occur at surface and give way to primary Mn silicate, probably bementite, within 5 feet of surface. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Analytical data results: Estimated 20% Mn.
