Medium-scale carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn deposit (Mississippi valley type), consisting of about 150 pod-like, stratiform, and vein-type ore bodies. Host rock is mainly banded dolomite of the Early Mesoproterozoic Fanhe group. Ore minerals occur in masses, veinlets, and disseminations. The deposit is controlled by a northeast-striking fracture zone that is a secondary structure of the major Yilan-Yiton fault zone. This fault zone occurs between the Fanhe basin and the Tieling-Jingyu uplift.
