Kamenický Šenov-Šenovský vrch


Šenovský vrch is a forested hill in the northeastern part of the Bohemian Central Mountains, about one kilometer north of the town of Kamenický Šenov. It is 632 meters above sea level and is in the care of the Lužické hory Protected Landscape Area. From the top, there is a limited view of Kamenický Šenov and Prácheň, in winter there are good views through the trees.

Kamenický Šenov District is an area at the border of the Lužicke hory (Mountains) and the Česke středohoři (Mountains). Local rocks are composed of Cretaceous sediments and Tertiary volcanic rocks with many small quarries.
