Can only be safely accessed via Glenthorne Beach from which there is a considerable distance to hike (approx. 1 to 2 Km past Desolation point), so should only be attempted on a retreating tide. The possibility of finding an excellent cluster of Aragonite crystals on a "gossany matrix" makes it all worth it. With difficulty, several veins of copper can be traced in the cliffs
