Roughtor Mine, otherwise known as Great Roughtor Consols lay on Davidstow Moor, to the southeast of Crowdy reservoir and three and a half miles east of Camelford. The mine, a modest producer, worked tin lodes from Morris' Engine Shaft and Thomas' Shaft.
