About Plumbopolarite
Formula:
Pd(Pb,Bi)
Name:
According to similarity with Polarite and composition.
Isostructural with:
Mineral form series of solid solutions with polarite PdBi-PdPb. It is known long ago and mentioned in dozens of articles. In massive sulphide Pt-Cu-Ni ores of Norilsk group deposits it is even more abundant than Bi-dominant polarite. Nevertheless it has never been officially proposed as a new mineral and thus is not approved up to now.
