To honor Mr. Yves Lulzac, from Nantes, France, geologist-engineer with BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières). He discovered the mineral.
Isostructural with:
A complex Sr phosphate isotypic with the Pb arsenate jamesite and the Pb phosphate désorite.
