In the early 1930s there were at last 7 different feldspar quarries in granite pegmatites dikes all located on the eastern part of the land of the Landås Farm.

Hydroxycalciomicrolite ?
Formula: Ca1.5Ta2O6(OH)
Description: Hydroxycalciomicrolite was entered by Van King in 04-02-2014, based on the study by Hogarth (1961) and a chemical anlysis first published in Bjørlykke (1933) (Bjørlykke paper is not listed among the referenmces in in Hogarth 1961). However, a chemical analysis alone is not enough to identify this as a hydoxylcalciomicrolite, a structural analysis is also needed (cf. Atencio et al., 2010, on the nomenclature on the Pyrochlore supergroup). Knut Edvard larsen comment 03.2022.
