A former U-Cu-Mo mine located in the SE edge sec. 33, T28N, R10E & in sec. 4, T27N, R10E, G&SRM, , 0.4 mile W of the Little Colorado River, on Indian Reservation land. A small past producer located near Cameron.

Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in Late Triassic sandstone of the Shinarump Conglomerate Member of the Chinle Formation. The ore body is 30.48 meters wide and 152.4 meters long. Coffinite, jordisite and uraninite occur in carbonized areas of paleostream channels. Controls for ore emplacement included the carbonized areas of the paleostream channels. Local alteration includes halos of jordisite, hydrous iron oxides, sericitized feldspar with increases of the trace Mo near the ore. Local rocks include rocks of the Chinle Formation.

A carnotite-type rich lens, 500 X 100 feet occurs in arkosic sandstone in a NE-trending channel cut in the upper Shinarump member. Abundant plant remains are present. Some metatorbernite, meta-autunite, uraninite, coffinite, ilsemannite, jordisite, and marcasite are also present.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a 15 foot deep pit.

Production was 2,747 tons of ore @0.12% U3O8 (195?-196?).

High Mo content hampered ore processing.
