Structure: Fractures
Alteration: Bleaching Of Limestone
Deposit: Mine developed along N 10-50 E vertical fracture zone in limestone. Quartz-calcite vein is developed along zone, with clots of red-brown and yellow-brown gossan in vein. Gossan areas with jasperoid, are 2-6 ft wide along the structure. White quartz-gossan contains clots of galena rimmed with anglesite. Ore zones appear to have been shoots and chimneys which formed within the major N 10-50 E structure; all are near-vertical. Limestone host is moderately bleached near the mineralized structres.
Development: No activity at time of examination in 1984.
Rock formation(s): Highland Peak
