A former U-V-Mo occurrence/mine located in approximate sec. 27 and 3, 4, T41N, R23E, G&SRM, 1.5 km (1.0 mile) SSE of Yazzi Mesa (coordinates of record) and 10.3 km (6.4 miles) NNW of Dennehotso (town). Now part of the Monument No. 2 Supplement.

Mineralization is tyuyamunite, montroseite and carnotite in lenticular ore pods in the Permian De Chelly sandstone of the Shinarump Conglomerate Member of the Chinle Formation and the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Deposits occur in the bottom of a paleostream channel, usually with carbonaceous debris. Mineralization occurs for 7 feet into the De Chelly sandstone. A replacement deposit. Local rocks include Permian to Pennsylvanian sedimentary rocks.

Production was 438 tons of ore @ 0.31% U3O8; 1.23% V2O5 (1955-1957).
