A former W occurrence/mine located in the NEΒΌ sec. 23, T25S, R33E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) SE of Kernville, on National Forest land. Operated during the period 1940 to 1941. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in metasedimentary rock. The ore body is lenticular in form, strikes N10E and dips 80-85SE. The metamorphic rocks are mostly limestone and quartzite. They strike generally N and dip steeply E. The igneous rocks exhibit lineation and sheeting that strike N10E and dip 80-85SE. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 125 foot adit driven S10E. A 25 foot drift was driven 90 feet from the portal and a glory hole is 20 feet from the portal and is 40 feet by 15 feet by 12 feet. There is a shallow, caved pit. Another adit was driven 60 feet N30W, thence 75 feet N70W into gabbro.

Production data are found in: Troxel, Bennie Wyatt & P.K. Morton (1962).

Total production figures are not available, but total tonnage milled is probably less than 500 tons.
