Zile, anciently known as Zela, is a city and a district of Tokat Province, Turkey. Zile lies to the south of Amasya and the west of Tokat in north-central Turkey.

Chrysocolla- and malachite-included petrified wood (opalized) is a new find of petrified wood out of Turkey. Discovered while prospecting for gold in 2012 and temporarily mined for samples in 2013.
