Giacimento salifero di Milena, Milena (Milocca), Libero consorzio comunale di Caltanissetta (Provincia di Caltanissetta), Sicilia, Italia
Saliferous deposit, consisting of halite with intercalated potash layers, to the west of Milena. It is probaly the westernmost extension of the Bompensiere salt deposit.
The salt zone, up to approximately 450 m in thickness, was reached at a depth of 185-240 m in the drilling wells.
