Twinned staurolite, almandine, annite, chloritoid/ottrelite (no modern verification), etc. in Late Carboniferous (Stephanian A) graphitic mica schist along the shoreline north of bridge abutments. There is no specific locality to find staurolite crystals. Specimens may be located in small outcrops or even in beach boulders.
