A Cu occurrence/prospect located in the NE¼NE¼NW¼ sec. 35, T3N, R26E, SBM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) NE of monument Peak (coordinates of record) and 5.1 km (3.2 miles) SSW of Black Meadow Landing, on Bureau of Land Management administered land (located claim). Owned by J. P. and Ruth M. Hinds (100%), Arizona. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Corrected coordinates : N34.31083 W114.22152 ; taken at traces of mining activities, such as diggings and small dumps, by Richard Muster in the year 2010 using an Ashtech MM6 device.

This property was examined in conjunction with the mineral appraisal of the Whipple Mountains Wilderness Study Area (Bureau of Land Management) in 1980. Backup information can be found in the WFOC mineral property files.

The ore body is tabular min a shear zone. The primary mode of origin was hydrothermal activity. The secondary mode was oxidation. Primary ore control was fracturing. Wallrock alteration is slight (propylitic; sericitic). Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.
