Steinbruch Höllein, Stengerts, Gailbach, Aschaffenburg, Spessart, Franken, Bayern, Deutschland
Abandoned quarry in diorites and amphibolites with pegmatite inclusions.
Located on Stengerts hill, 1.5 km west of Gailbach and about 8 km SE of Aschaffenburg.
Note on the mineral list:
The "spessartine" from here has been erroneously reported in Weiß (1990); in fact it is an almandine from garnet gneisses.
