Abandoned gabbro-diabase quarry, now on the site of a nature reserve where collecting is strictly prohibited.
Located 1.5 km SSW of Niederkirchen.

NOTE: Electron diffraction studies of a pectolite sample from this locality produced a pattern similar to that of "parawollastonite", and the name "parapectolite" was proposed for this new phase (Müller, 1976). Meanwhile, the polytype has been renamed to "pectolite-M2abc".
