A mountain located W of Liberty. This mountain is comprised of ancient Eocene Teanaway Basalts and is 1628 meters (5,341 feet) high. Red Top Mountain is accessed via Blue Creek Road (Forest Road 9738) on the west side of State Route 97 to Blewitt Pass and is approximately 13 kilometers (8.1 miles) to the collection parking area. There are many collection opportunities along the way in the road-cuts.

Primary collection targets are chalcedony, quartz (including amethyst) geodes and plates, and calcite geodes and plates.
