A phlogopite-bearing pyroxenite. Located 10km northwest of the town of Isoanala, close to the Tsikoriky migmatite (Mt. Tsikory has these coordinates: -23.8192°S, 45.635°E).
A lens of pyroxenite 600m long and 175 large has been mined for phlogopite mica.
Besaire (1966) gives these map coordinates: X = 264,5 and Y = 319.3. (Map sheet Betroka et Est Benenitra).
