A borate occurrence (old US Borax & Chemical Co claim) located in sec. 8, T26N, R2E, SBM, about 550 meters S30E from the Meridian claim occurrence in the NE foothills of the Black Mountains, in Twenty Mule Team Canyon.

NOTE: This occurrence is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The coordinates provided are to the center of sec. 8.

Mineralization is a borate and gypsum deposit of Halocene borates in a surficial sponge formed by the weathering of proximate colemanite and priceite veins in Late Tertiary rocks (basalt).
