Sec 8 T26S R64E. Gold.
Deposit: Group includes quaker city, mocking bird, honest miner, rand, techatticup ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Ore in mineralized fissure zones in quartz monzonite, some termed blankets, others are verticle lodes. At quaker city, there are 2 parallel, nearly horizontal veins about 100 feet apart. Ore there is shattered qtz. Monzonite cemented and partly replaced by calcite and quartz. Originally deposit contained disseminated pyrite which was oxidized and material is now free-milling gold ore. at mocking bird mine, the vein is 6 - 7 feet wide, qtz. Is more abundant than at quaker city. At rand claim vein is little bunches and veinlets of qtz., calcite & pyrite in a somewhat pyritized qtz. Monzonite. At honest miner claim are 2 nearly parallel NE - sw veins 60 ft. Apart.
