A former lode Au-Pb-Cu occurrence/mine located in sec. 2, T16N, R8E, MDM, about 1.8 km NNE of Indian Flat (2Β½ miles W of Nevada City). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes NW and dips 45NE. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified surface openings and underground openings with a length of 152.4 meters, an overall depth of 21.34 meters and comprised of an incline and drifts.
