Massive calcite-fluorite veining exposed in roadcuts near the M6 exit at Doughiska. Fluorite varies from colourless to purple. There is minor associated galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite, however they tend to suffer from severe oxidation. Mineraliazation is most prominant at IM 35206 26844 and at the corresponding wall on the other side of the motorway.
The mineralogy bears striking resemblance to that at Sheshodonnell East Mine, Co. Clare with the notable exception of having very little smithsonite.
