"The mine is located about 1.8 km south east of Woods Point. Discovered in the late 1980's or early 1900 the mine had a short life and was abandoned by 1905. 1810 oz. of gold were recovered from 2368 tons of ore from this mine.
The mullock heap now is partly overgrown and the main adit is well hidden at the upper end of the mullock heap. This adit has been driven about 100m to a T-intersection, with both branches leading to air shafts. Halfway up the gully there are two shafts and one adit, the other having caved in near the entrance. It is possible that the shafts connect with the lower workings."
