An old limestone quarry that closed in 1935. It exposed the same rocks and minerals as found in the Dundas quarries. Sometime during the 1990's it was used as a landfill site and is now covered in soil and grass with no rock exposed anywhere.
The quarry had a sulphide vein with marcasite crystals up to 3cm and peculiar white acicular celestine crystals. Blue celestine with white caps was abundant in large vugs in the dolostone. (Reiner Mielke 1964) .
