Deposit Model: 241: Superior Fe (BC name is Lake Superior & Rapitan types iron-formation)
Host Rock: Iron Formation

An iron mine operated from 1922 through 1928 by the Brule Mining Co. The mine was operated as part of the Berkshire Mine, with all ore raised through a Berkshire shaft and included in Berkshire shipment records. However, during exploration, a test shaft of 255 ft. depth was placed in the western part of the property. The test shaft was later entered by mine workings.

The property description is NE-SW Sec. 6 T42N-R34W, which is the 40 acres between N46ΒΊ3'43", N46ΒΊ3'56", W88ΒΊ36'23", and W88ΒΊ36'42".
