An Fe occurrence/mine in magnetite ore located about 300 feet (100 meters) from Lake Hopatcong (immediate area of Mt Arlington). Started about 1863 and reopened 1882.
The ore vein was 6 feet (2 meters) wide.
Workings included underground openings comprised of 3 shafts (60 feet, 84 feet & 85 feet) and a large pit (older).
