Owen Mine; Boundary Silver Lead Mine
This mine is located on Red Top Mountain. The geology is the Reeves Limestone Member of the Maitlen Phyllite. The ore as veins cutting bedding and along the contact of limestone and schist. Development consisted of two adits 200' and 430' long. It produced 50 tons of ore in 1926 and 160 tons in 1948. Mills (1977) reported around 42,000 lbs Pb, 25,000 lbs Zn, and 1,500 oz Ag being produced
