The remains of Red Grooves mines lie to the west of Coldberry Gutter. The remains include a number of drainage conduits with corbelled arch portals, generally 1.1 metre wide by 1.3 metres high, and at least one extant stone-lined shaft measuring 1.2 metres in diameter. The remains also include a bank of bouse teams measuring 40 metres long by 3 metres wide by up to 2 metres high, including at least 10 individual bays. In addition, a small terraced dressing floor with deposits of buddling waste and a rectangular building with walls 1.5 metres high lie at the west end of the site. Associated with the mine is a water management system comprised of dams and leats.
